Carlo Romiti
Carlo Romiti dipinge da anni con le terre che egli stesso ricerca. La pittura ha inizio nel momento stesso in cui raschia un argine e, con la mano, raccoglie le prime manciate di terra “di più ragioni di colori “, proprio negli stessi luoghi descritti da Cennini. Il proseguire di una tecnica antica di millenni e la ricerca continua sul colore e sulle sue applicazioni, sono fonte di ispirazione. Talvolta è la terra stessa, o una sua diversa tonalità, a suggerire l’opera, in un alternarsi di priorità tra soggetto e colore. |

Maria Lucchese Thomasberger
ist in Mailand geboren und lebt und arbeitet seit über 15 Jahren als Künstlerin in Berlin Ihr künstlerisches Profil entzieht sich dem klassischen künstlerischen Werdegang, de facto betrachtet sich die Künstlerin selbst daher als Autodidaktin.Bereits in den ersten Klassen der Montessori-Schule zeigten sich ihre vielseitigen Begabungen, ihre Berufung zu Kunst und Musik. Als „enfant rebelle“, wie sie sich selbst gern definiert, praktizierte sie die Malerei in vollkommener expressiver Freiheit, aus einem reinen und authentischen schöpferischen Impuls, der durch den Wunsch und die Notwendigkeit diktiert wurde, das eigene Unbewusste zu durchdringen. Dazu kommt später die Suche nach einem spirituellen Gleichgewicht, aber auch der Wunsch, sich selbst und die Welt zu erzählen.Maria Lucchese-Tomasberger arbeitet in völliger Ausdrucksfreiheit und verfeinert ihre technischen Fertigkeiten bei renommierten Lehrern in Italien und Deutschland. Sie bringt ihr Innerstes zum Ausdruck, ihre Empfindungen, ohne sich dabei irgendeinem vorgegebenen Darstellungskodex zu unterwerfen, wie ein Kind, das aus sich selbst heraus eine Landkarte aus Zeichen und Farben schafft. |

Katja Pal
. I am a Slovene painter and graphic artist, born 1979 in Murska Sobota, SI. My adventure on the battlefield called Art begun as early as my high school years when I joined the LindArt Young Artists Association in 1995. This gesture highly determined my artistic path and gave an opportunity to be engaged in the regional art scene. Within LindArt I annually attended summer Fine Arts Symposiums and participated on numerous group exhibitions around the region, including the neighbouring countries.In 2005 I graduated from the Ljubljana’s Academy of Fine Arts and Design (painting). 2010 I received a Master’s degree, at the same Academy. In 2003 I spent a year at Dublin’s NCAD, exploring the rich expressional possibilities of a drawing, that later became somewhat my leading creative mode. My recent work is engaged in the vitality of the relationship between a painting and its beholder. Beside the practical work in my studio as well as participation within the tandem artIchoke, I collaborate with several art institutions; among others the Gallery-Museum Lendava, with which we annually organise art camps such as the so called “co-operate” International Fine Arts Colony. |

Giovanni Serafini
Giovanni Serafini nasce a Firenze il 12 agosto 1983.Nel 2001 si diploma al liceo classico Michelangelo e nel 2007 consegue la laurea in Storia dell’Arte Moderna con una tesi di ricerca in iconologia rinascimentale.Parallelamente agli studi teorici, a undici anni comincia la propria attività di disegnatore, prima come allievo del prof. Mariniello e poi da solo, concentrandosi nella tecnica della china e dell’acquarello.Nel 2004, applica le proprie ricerche tecniche e i propri studi sul nudo alla tela e a dimensioni più ampie. Con l’artista Luigi Balleri comincia un sodalizio artistico sotto il nome di CONIVCTIOEXPVTEO; organizza con lui le prime personali, partecipano insieme a vari concorsi, e si distinguono in alcune collettive nel territorio fiorentino.Nel 2006 abbandona il nudo pop-accademico e si dedica alla sperimentazione della tecnica che tutt’ora lo tiene impegnato e lo “distingue”: grandi vetri su cui figure umane in bianco e nero di vigore quasi statuario e realismo accentuato, per mezzo dell’annerimento della superficie col fumo di grandi candele.Questi ultimi lavori gli hanno dato i primi riconoscimenti in concorsi nazionali, e l’attenzione di alcune gallerie.Nel 2007 Serafini comincia ad interessarsi anche alla tecnica video e con CONVCTIOExPVTEO avviano la collaborazione con il compositore Lorenzo Romano per la realizzazione di alcune installazioni audio-video. |

Shih Yun Yeo
Born in Singapore 1976, Shih Yun began her artistic career after graduating from San Francisco Art Institute. In 2004, she founded instinc, an international artists' collective which has seen successful participations with artists from UK, US, Europe, Japan & Singapore as well as corporate co-productions with Moleskine, Smirnoff and Guinness. Apart from paintings and drawings, Shih Yun works with diverse mediums including lithography, screen printing and painting directly on 16mm films. |
